Referral Process
Referral Sources
We accept referrals for looked-after young people, including planned placements and one emergency placement per night. Emergency requests must be made by 10 PM due to overnight staffing constraints.
Referral Information
All referrals require a completed Placement Referral Information (PRI) document, submitted by the young person’s social worker or personal advisor.
Assessment Process
Senior staff carefully assess referrals to ensure the young person’s needs and risks align with the support available in our home.
Pre-Admission Risk Assessment
A thorough Pre-Admission Risk Assessment ensures compatibility with current residents and the suitability of the placement.
Health & Safety
We prioritize safety with regular risk assessments, fire drills, and health inspections. First Aid Kits are readily available, and staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Fire Safety
- Weekly fire equipment checks.
- Monthly fire drills, including nighttime drills.
- Clear evacuation plans shared with all residents upon admission
