OUR COMMITMENTS
Promoting Independence Through Personalized Support We empower young people towards independent living through tailored support focused on everyone’s needs and goals. In partnership with social workers and personal advisors, we develop comprehensive support plans that harness young people’s passions while working towards their short, medium, and long-term objectives. Our flexible approach accommodates diverse needs and differences.
Supporting Rights, Responsibilities, and Advocacy All young people receive a handbook clearly explaining their rights, privileges, and responsibilities. We actively encourage and support young people to access advocacy services and make complaints when needed. Our staff also advocate on behalf of young people to uphold their rights and best interests.
Facilitating Education, Employment, and Community Integration We champion young people’s continuous development by facilitating engagement in education, training, or employment through close collaboration with schools, colleges, and employers. Regular routines and community integration are promoted through visiting hours and involvement in local activities.
Developing Life Skills for Independence Comprehensive life skills training covers key areas like cooking, healthy eating, hygiene, household management, job skills, budgeting, and accessing benefits. This equips young people with the practical abilities needed for successful independent living.
Promoting Health, Wellbeing, Safety, and Inclusion Young people’s health and wellbeing are supported through encouragement of exercise, nutrition, and access to all necessary healthcare services. We provide a safe, secure living environment that promotes equality and diversity.
